Adventure seekers and holiday enthusiasts have a new and exciting destination to consider—Guernsey. Thanks to the convenient new flights from Aurigny departing from Cornwall Airport Newquay from next July in time for the school holiday period, exploring the picturesque landscapes and cultural delights of this Channel Island has never been easier.

St. Peter Port and Castle Cornet

Upon arriving in Guernsey, head to the capital, St. Peter Port. This bustling harbour town offers a perfect blend of history and modernity. Start your exploration at Castle Cornet, a fortress with a rich history dating back to the 13th century. Dive into the island's past as you wander through the castle's museums and enjoy panoramic views of the harbour.

Coastal Hike and Petit Bot Bay

Embrace the natural beauty of Guernsey with a coastal hike. The island boasts an extensive network of trails offering stunning views of cliffs, coves, and the sparkling sea. For a memorable experience, head to Petit Bot Bay, a secluded beach surrounded by cliffs. Pack a picnic and enjoy the tranquillity of this hidden gem.

Herm Island Excursion

Take advantage of Guernsey's proximity to the charming Herm Island. Accessible by a short ferry ride, Herm offers pristine beaches, clear waters, and a tranquil atmosphere. Whether you choose to relax on the beaches or explore the island's walking trails, Herm is a perfect day trip from Guernsey.

Sark and the La Coupee

Continue your island-hopping adventure with a visit to Sark, another nearby gem. Don't miss the iconic La Coupee, a narrow isthmus connecting Big Sark and Little Sark. Marvel at the breath-taking views and enjoy a leisurely bike ride around the car-free island.

Guernsey's Culinary Delights

No visit to Guernsey is complete without indulging in its culinary offerings. Explore St. Peter Port's diverse dining scene, ranging from seafood bistros to traditional pubs. Sample local delicacies like Guernsey gâche (a sweet bread) and fresh seafood caught right off the coast.

Getting There

Embarking on your Guernsey adventure is a breeze with the new flights from Aurigny. Departing from the charming Cornwall Airport Newquay, you'll find yourself on a short and scenic journey to the island, setting the tone for an unforgettable summer escape.
