We’ve got some fantastic news that’s sure to make your time at Cornwall Airport Newquay even better. We’ve teamed up with local broadband provider Wildanet to bring you brand new, super-fast Wi-Fi! Whether you’re waiting to catch your flight or just landed, you can now stay connected with ease.

What’s New?

The new Wi-Fi service is a major upgrade from our previous setup, giving you lightning-fast speeds and rock-solid reliability. From the moment you step into the airport – or even in the car park – you can browse, stream and stay in touch with friends and family without a hitch.

Why This Matters

We know how important it is to stay connected, whether you’re checking in online, streaming your favourite shows, or just scrolling through social media. This new service makes everything smoother and more convenient, so you can make the most of your time at the airport.

Behind the Scenes

Our new Wi-Fi is powered by Wildanet, a fantastic Cornish company dedicated to bringing high-speed internet to communities across Cornwall and the South West. They’ve set up a high-capacity network at the airport, ensuring comprehensive coverage everywhere – from the terminal to the waiting areas and even outside.  It allows our airside teams to use tablets rather than paper load sheets which is more efficient and sustatinable and opens up a wide range of technological advances with remote check-in and booking options for passengers requiring support.

Hear from the Team

Sam O’Dwyer, our Managing Director, is thrilled about the upgrade:

“The launch of Wildanet’s cutting-edge Wi-Fi at Cornwall Airport Newquay is a big step towards making our airport the best regional hub in the UK. It enhances the passenger experience and boosts our operations. We’re excited to partner with Wildanet and look forward to a future of seamless digital access for all our passengers.”

Helen Wylde-Archibald, CEO of Wildanet, shared:

“We’re proud to support Cornwall Airport Newquay by providing fast, reliable internet. Our goal is to enhance your experience and help bridge the digital divide in Cornwall and the South West.”

A Look to the Future

This new Wi-Fi is just the beginning. We’re working on even more improvements to ensure Cornwall Airport Newquay stays ahead of the curve in passenger convenience and technology. Plus, this upgrade helps us move towards more sustainable, digital solutions – no more paper-based processes right across the site, making your journey smoother and more eco-friendly.

A Big Thank You

We’d also like to give a shoutout to Kim Conchie, Director of Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, who praised this project as a fantastic example of local businesses working together to boost our region.

So next time you’re at Cornwall Airport Newquay, enjoy the new Wi-Fi and stay connected! Safe travels and happy browsing!
