Flybe announces two new Summer routes from Cornwall Airport Newquay

Back to Press releases

Leading regional airline’s 2016 Summer programme will now feature new routes to Glasgow and Liverpool

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today (21st January 2016) reaffirmed its commitment to Cornwall Airport Newquay with the announcement of  two brand new regional routes to Glasgow and Liverpool as part of its 2016 Summer schedule. The new routes will be available for travel on Saturdays between 21st May and 24th September 2016. Tickets are available for booking now at www.flybe.com with one way fares from £29.99 including taxes and charges.

Flybe has created a schedule from Cornwall Airport Newquay that delivers travel options that are both appealing to, and affordable for customers travelling to and from Cornwall. The new Liverpool and Glasgow routes offer yet more attractive and popular destinations and serve to open up these two cities to Cornish travellers.

Managing Director of Cornwall Airport Newquay, Al Titterington, comments: “The two new routes announced today further strengthen Cornwall’s domestic connectivity and demonstrates our approach of working in partnership with Flybe to provide connectivity right across the UK. This summer Cornwall will now be as well connected domestically as it has ever been, with direct routes to the majority of the UK’s major cities. Good news for all those wishing to travel to or from the county.”

Flybe’s 2016 Summer schedule from Newquay now offers 11 routes in total with a choice of up to 52 flights a week.
