In 2019, Cornwall Airport Newquay experienced its busiest summer on record, welcoming approximately 460,000 passengers. Passenger numbers speak for themselves: in June 2022, the airport processed 26,382 passengers, whilst in June 2023, this number surged to 47,396 – representing an impressive 80% increase. In July 2023 around 57,000 passengers passed through the airport, back in line with the 2019 passenger volumes for the first time since the pandemic.
