We are incredibly pleased to announce our partnership with Aerobility and Flynqy this August, bringing specialist disabled flying opportunities to the far South West of England.

Aerobility, an inspiring charity founded in 1993, enables individuals with physical or hidden disabilities to experience the magic of flying an aircraft. This partnership aims to extend these transformative flight experiences to Cornwall and the South West this August. Aerobility’s mission is to empower people with disabilities by focusing on their capabilities, encouraging them to ask, “If I can fly an aeroplane, what else can I do?” This experience provides the ultimate sense of freedom and escape from the restrictions of disability.

We are excited to collaborate with Aerobility and Flynqy to make this event a huge success and are working towards making this a regular fixture. As a training organization, we are passionate about sharing our love for aviation and opening up the world of flight to more individuals.

These incredible flights will operate from Cornwall Airport Newquay, a regional airport with professional facilities and an all-weather runway. Andrew Boomer, Operations Director at Cornwall Airport Newquay, shared his enthusiasm: “Teaming up with Flynqy Pilot Training, Cornwall Airport Newquay is excited to announce our collaboration with Aerobility, championing inclusivity in aviation. Together, we’re paving the way for transformative flying experiences for individuals living with disabilities in the South West.”

Bookings are now open for the first flights for people with disabilities, available on a trial basis from August 16th to 18th, 2024.

Aerobility Chief Flying Instructor Al Rosser expressed his excitement: “This new opportunity shows that the charity is serious about growing its national catchment areas and enables us to spread the magic and wonder of flight to new and remote areas of the UK. We are thrilled to be expanding our offering to Cornwall, helping more people living with disabilities try something new and realize their true capabilities.”

Disabled individuals flying with Aerobility and Flynqy Pilot Training from Cornwall Airport Newquay this August will receive the same exceptional experience and support as they would at Blackbushe, Tatenhill, or Lydd, with experienced staff on hand throughout the weekend.

Bookings for flights at Newquay, Blackbushe, Tatenhill, or Lydd can be made at www.aerobility.com/enquire-now
