We’re looking for a dedicated firefighter to join our team and play a crucial role in keeping the airport safe and operational. If you’re passionate about safety, teamwork and working in a dynamic aviation environment, we’d love to hear from you.
The vacancy is open to candidates who are CAA qualified firefighters.
Your duties will include:
• Responding to requests for assistance in accordance with the company’s emergency plan.
• Maintaining of personal fitness in accordance with departmental standards.
• Report promptly to their immediate supervisor, all accidents, incidents, hazards, unsafe work situations, shortcomings in health and safety arrangements, whether or not personal injury has occurred.
• Adhere to Company’s Health and Safety policy.
• Undertake tasks requested by Supervisors/Managers.
• Responsibly for ensuring you are familiar with Risk Assessments relating to the activity.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the workplace areas.

About you
We are looking for candidates who are/have:
• Current, competent Firefighter holding a valid CAA qualification or Certificate of Competence for aviation firefighting.
• Current, qualified Breathing Apparatus wearer
• Experience of working in a Fire and Rescue Service
• Ability to maintain competence in the workplace to National Occupational Standards
• Be able to pass the company’s medical and fitness standards.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Full UK driving licence.
• LGV/Category C
• Emergency Fire Appliance Driver
• Ability to organise and prioritise.
• Ability to use own initiative and self-motivate.
• Capable of working under pressure
• Flexible regarding work patterns
