World Mental Health Day

Tuesday 10th October 2023

At Cornwall Airport Newquay, we believe that fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for mental health is not just a day's observance but a year-round commitment. We'd like to share our dedication to mental health, along with some valuable tips for maintaining well-being, and proudly announce that we have about 40 trained Mental Health First Aiders ready to listen and support.

World Mental Health Day serves as a reminder that mental health deserves the same attention and care as physical health. It encourages open conversations, raises awareness about mental health issues, and promotes access to resources and support.

Traveling through Cornwall Airport Newquay should be a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Here are some travel tips to help you prioritize your mental health while navigating the airport:

Arrive Early: Give yourself ample time to check-in, go through security, and get to your gate. Arriving with plenty of time can reduce the stress of rushing and unexpected delays.

Preparation is Key: Before heading to the airport, double-check your travel documents, flight details, and any other important information. Knowing you have everything in order can ease anxiety.

Stay Informed: Keep an eye on flight updates and announcements. Being informed about any changes to your flight can help you plan accordingly.

Seek Assistance: If you have specific concerns or require assistance, don't hesitate to ask airport staff for help. We are here to ensure your journey goes smoothly.
