Competition Terms & Conditions

Winning prize includes 2 return flights from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Cork Airport with Aer Lingus Regional (operated by Stobart Air), three nights bed and breakfast at the Celtic Ross Hotel for two with dinner on one evening in their award winning AA Rosette Kingfisher Bistro, a West Cork Farm Tour for two people and passes for two people to the Mizen Head Signal Station, Ireland’s  most South-westerly Point and Signature Discovery Point on the Wild Atlantic Way.

• Seats must be redeemed together and seat availability is at Stobart Air's discretion.

• Seats can only be booked in V Class or lower.

• It is the responsibility of competition winners to ensure their travel request is correct at time of booking as no responsibility will be taken by the airline for incorrect details provided. Where return flights are required, this must be noted on your travel request.

• While every effort will be made to facilitate your preferred travel dates bookings are subject to applicable seat availability on flights. Furthermore please be aware that weekend availability is limited and a minimum of 14 days advance booking request is required.

• All flights are subject to availability and it may be difficult to obtain first-choice flights during travel periods, including but not restricted to: bank holidays, school holidays, mid-term breaks or sport events.

• Prize includes the cost of one piece of checked baggage per person per flight (up to 20kgs) and one piece of cabin baggage (up to 7kg, subject to cabin baggage terms & conditions). Please note this excludes all sporting equipment.

• Routes and validity dates are not changeable.

• The prize does not entitle you to a cash value in lieu and tickets are non-transferable. The prize must be used by the winner and a companion travelling together.

• Please check with your local authorities regarding passport and visa requirements.

• The prize winner, if under 16, must be accompanied by an adult on the flight.

• Travel insurance is not included in this prize and, if not already covered, it is recommended that you purchase insurance prior to travel. Travel insurance is available via the Aer Lingus website.

• EU 261 compensation cannot be claimed in the event of disruption as this flight has been given as a reward.

• The prize includes three nights bed and breakfast at the Celtic Ross Hotel for two with dinner on one evening in their award winning AA Rosette Kingfisher Bistro. This stay is subject to availability.

• The prize includes a West Cork Farm Tour for two people and is subject to availability.

• The prize includes passes for two people to the Mizen Head Signal Station and is subject to availability.

• No other expenses, including additional travel, are included as part of the prize.

• The prize is as described and there is no cash alternative.

• The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.

• Closing date for the competition is Wednesday 11th April 2018, time 3pm, winner must have ‘Liked’ and commented on the Facebook post to be eligible to win. 

• The winner may be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition.

• Employees of CAN, Cornwall Council, Stobart Air, prize sponsor and or agencies associated with this competition (or members of the families or households of employees) are ineligible to enter.  Any such entries will be invalid.

• Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

• Entry shows acceptance of these terms and conditions and CAN’s decision is final concerning these T&Cs or any ancillary matter.
