The Senior Airfield Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Airfield Engineers at Cornwall Airport Newquay. The role oversees all engineering and new installations, with adherence to regulations and future proofing.
About the role
The role has three distinct functions which are:
Ensure that all accountabilities are met with respect to CAP 670 and relevant Articles under the Air Navigation Order.
Management and maintenance of the Aerodrome Ground Lighting system, Manuals and associated supply and control and monitoring system to ensure CAP 168, CAP 670 compliance.
Ensure correct installation and maintenance of all telecommunications, electrical equipment and airfield equipment, performance checks and measurements to the standards required by the CAA and other regulatory and control authorities.
About you
We are looking for you to bring:
- Experience with VCCS, Navaids including ILS (Cat I-III), DME, NDB, and AGL control and monitoring systems equipment, as well as primary and secondary radar.
- Management experience in similar role.
- Full clean Driving Licence.
