Seasonal Positions for 2018

As the fastest growing Airport in the UK, we are always looking forward to our busiest time of year. The following part time seasonal positions for the summer of 2018 are now available:-

Aviation Security Officers

Main duties will include carrying out aviation security duties such as processing passengers for departing flights, searching and x-raying baggage to strict regulatory guidelines. Due to the nature of the duties applicants must be able to pass an eyesight colour test and hold a manual driving licence. Job description and personal specification for download below.

Passenger Services Agents

Main duties will include all aspects of passenger services: - excellent customer service, check in, ticketing, information desk, boarding flights, passenger escorting and assisting passengers with reduced mobility. Job description and personal specification for download below.

Customer Services Agents

Main duties will be to provide assistance to passengers with reduced mobility, ensuring the highest standard of customer care in line with Regulation (EC) no 1107/2006. Job description and personal specification for download below.

Airside Services Officers 

Duties will include baggage handling and all associated ground handling activities associated with aircraft turnaround process. Due to the physical demands of the post applicants should be reasonably fit, and must also be able to pass an eyesight colour test and hold a manual driving licence. Baristas 

Main duties will include making coffee, drinks and food to Coffee Republic standards, ensuring speed and quality of service standards are maintained. You will need to ensure high standards of cleanliness are kept as well as dealing correctly with food storage and stock rotation. There is also a requirement to receive and check deliveries. Part time hours will vary depending on the requirements of the departments – however the minimum hours available are 16 hours per week.

All posts will require shift working between the hours of 0500 – 2200, 7 days a week. Criminal Record Checks will be undertaken and you will be required to provide a full 5 year employment history.

All posts will initially be paid at the national minimum wage, with further increments on reaching set criteria. 

Full training will be provided where necessary which may include some taking place at another UK location.
