Service leavers who have operated in the fire and rescue service at military airbases will have most of the required skills and qualifications required to perform this role and would bring with them their invaluable experience. The role would bring familiarity in many aspects but as a civilian aerodrome and now a licensed Spaceport, brings exciting new challenges.
You will be part of a wholetime crew working shifts providing cover for the RFFS Category 6 operation and for higher category upgrades including Spaceport operations where required. Aircraft types range from commercial jets, helicopters, military aircraft, private jets and light aircraft operated by the GA (General Aviation) community.
These roles are particularly suitable for those who are current aircraft fire service personnel or have recently retired but are still in date with their competencies.
